About the project

Volunteers will work in the autistic center in Borová (web, Facebook), which is located just a few kilometers from Trnava. This center is a space created by parents of autistic children (but some clients are already adults). The center has a maximum of 10 clients a day.

The project is funded by European Solidarity Corps.

Activities:

You will help with following activities:

• Handicrafts, simple games, cooking, cleaning,
• Working in the garden, taking care of the center with the help of clients,
• Art, music, dance,
• Planning activities outside the center…

Requirements

You have to be:

• creative
• patient
• responsible
• interested in social work with people with special needs

Costs

Costs covered by ESC grant:

• accommodation (provided by the host organization),
• food + pocket money (total approximately $ 300),
• insurance,
• travel costs (up to 275 EUR),
• personal mentor.
